The Area

The Gardener’s Cottage sits in a quiet location amid fields on the banks of the Firth of Forth, just south of Dunfermline.

Despite the rural location and few neighbours, it is within an hour’s drive of Edinburgh, Stirling, Glasgow, and Perth; and therefore such events as the Open, or the Edinburgh Festival. There are also many and varied other places to visit, such as Culross, the Falkirk Wheel, and Linlithgow castle, to name but three… more information about local attractions can be found under the Visit Scotland listing.

Restrictions

There is a no smoking policy everywhere in the house.

There are two resident cats, and the B&B is therefore not suitable for guests with allergies to felines. They are also the reason we cannot take pets.
