Gardener's Cottage

Welcome to the newly opened Crombie Point B&B, run within a private home in a B-listed building.

It is set in a beautiful, quiet location on the banks of the Firth of Forth, with views across the SSSI to Bo’ness, Grangemouth, and Kincardine. Birdwatchers will appreciate this; it is chiefly for the rich and varied wildlife of the Forth estuary that the area was designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.Visitors can also enjoy the large and unusual walled garden – see details under ‘The Garden’ on the main menu.

Our Visit Scotland listing is here.

I have just had a lovely review sent me by email, with a request to post it here. I’m enjoying this B&B thing. So many lovely people :0)

    Review:
The Gardener’s Cottage is heaven on earth. In addition to two comfortable bedrooms and two full, private bathrooms, we had use of a study/TV room with books, games, cats, tea and biscuits, and a fantastic view. Lorna is incredibly kind. Nothing is too much trouble — bespoke breakfast, late check-out, a ride back to our car after a long hike, dinner recommendations. The garden is wonderous — peaceful, educational, and an obvious labor of love, and lots of labor at that. As an extra treat for cat lovers, the cats were our tour guides in the garden. The Cottage is right on the Fife Coastal Path and convenient for hiking, as we did, but is worth a detour in any event. We plan to return. Laura Michaels, Chicago
